Rebecca is a Litigation and Matrimonial Executive and is happy to advise in relation to personal disputes and business disputes. Rebecca joined Brindley Twist Tafft & James LLP in May 2016 and has enjoyed running a wide variety of cases.
Rebecca was called to the Bar in 2010 and is a graduate member of the Institute of Legal Executives. She is currently studying at The University of Law to qualify as a solicitor together with completing a Masters of Science in Law and Business.
Rebecca originally completed an undergraduate degree in History and Psychology BA(Hons). She went on to complete the Graduate Diploma in Law, the Bar Vocational Course, a Masters in Legal Professional Practice (Commercial Law) in which she achieved a distinction. Rebecca has also been awarded an LL.B(Hons).
Having finished the Bar, Rebecca worked as a self-employed advocate for 4 years, appearing in court daily on a range of civil disputes. She then worked in-house as an advocate for a nationwide law firm specialising in personal injury and road traffic accidents. Rebecca would regularly value the claims and attend court to establish liability and the amount to be awarded.
In addition to preparing the cases Rebecca will often attend court on her own matters and those of other file handlers, ensuring clients have consistency throughout their matter.
