BTTJ’s charity of the year for this year is local charity Spencer’s Retreat Farm

Our chosen charity of the year runs from April – March.

Here’s why…..

Spencer’s Retreat

Spencer’s Retreat is a small charity based in Berkswell, 5 minutes from our Balsall Common office.

They are a care farm, offering access to families & groups with additional & special needs creating a fun, safe and understanding environment for children. They are not open to the public; they specifically take bookings to enable visitors to have private access which can be invaluable for SEN groups without the hustle & bustle of a publicly open attraction – families / groups will be the only visitors at their booked time.

They have animals to feed, sheep, goats, chickens & an alpaca. They also have 2 play areas, a stables building & a small, tented area.

As a small, local charity they rely on fundraising to be able to operate. We hope we are able to assist them with this throughout the year.
