BTTJ’s charity of the year 2025 – 2026

We are very pleased to announce that BTTJ’s charity of the year for 2026-2027 is Spencer’s Retreat Farm.

Our firm’s local charity of the year each year is chosen through nominations from our staff. We will be undertaking different fundraising events throughout the year to raise money, kicking off our campaign by holding a staff dress in red & white day to coincide with St George’s Day on 23rd April.

Spencer’s Retreat part of The Langdale Trust is a small charity based in Berkswell, just 5 minutes from our Balsall Common office.

They are a care farm, offering access to families & groups with additional & special needs creating a fun, safe and understanding environment for children. They are not open to the public; they specifically take bookings to enable visitors to have private access which can be invaluable for SEN groups without the hustle & bustle of a publicly open attraction – families / groups will be the only visitors at their booked time. They have animals to feed, sheep, goats, chickens & an alpaca. They also have 2 play areas, a stables building & a small, tented area

As a small, local charity they rely on fundraising to be able to operate. We hope we are able to assist them with this throughout the year!
