Members advise and support businesses from entrepreneurial start-ups to family firms and global organisations.  They include leading local accountancy, legal, banking, property, insolvency and recovery, and PR and marketing firms as well as both the main local authorities.

Providing a voice for professionals within the region, Coventry & Warwickshire First draws on the talent within its members to give expert opinions on a wide range of business and economic issues.

The organisation’s leadership represents members’ interests on relevant local boards and through its work with other organisations including Coventry City Council, Warwickshire County Council and other key stakeholders across the region.

Members get the inside track on key developments and initiatives within Coventry and Warwickshire through a varied programme of events that includes:

First Friday lunchtime networking
Quarterly Keynote breakfast briefings
Social meetings including cross sector dinners

Fostering strong collaborative relationships between its member firms, Coventry & Warwickshire First promotes the collective capability of its members within and beyond the sub-region. It also campaigns for local organisations to procure from members based in the area and the members’ directory provides a quick and easy way for companies to find the right professional for them.

Warwickshire Junior Lawyers Division is a group focused on supporting the next generation of legal professionals. They will be organising various events to encourage networking, learning, and peer to peer support for Junior Lawyers.

The firm itself is a member of the ‘parent organisation’ the Warwickshire Law Society.

Five members of our team had a very enjoyable & interesting evening at the Warwickshire Junior Lawyers Division launch event at East Chase Distillers last night & are very much looking forward to being a part of the WJLD with other local junior legal professionals going forward.

Established in 1914 and incorporated in 1915, The Warwickshire Law Society is over 100 years old and represents and promotes over 500 solicitors, trainee solicitors and legal executives in Coventry and Warwickshire.  Their mission, as a membership organisation, is to provide our members with support and assistance, represent them on a regional and national basis, and make sure their views are heard.

As well as supporting members locally, they provide relevant and varied training courses and circulate topical news issues such as law reform, practice updates and changes to legislation.

They are able to help the general public find legal support and services in Coventry and Warwickshire.

The packs are tailored for both primary and secondary schools & include bereavement information guides for teachers & staff, a number of books & a lovely little Guys Gift teddy! There are times when Guy’s Gift can’t get to meet a child or young person immediately, and they want to help schools to feel equipped to offer support in the first instance. So, they have carefully thought about what books would be useful for different age groups and have provided a selection of these to use in schools. They encourage schools to share these resources and activity ideas with children and young people who have experienced a bereavement.

After making up the packs, our team of volunteers distributed the 19 packs to a list of local schools provided by Guys Gift.
