We are looking for a fulltime Receptionist to join our busy firm on a permanent basis.

Hours of work- Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30 pm

Based out of our Coventry office, it is preferable for candidates to hold a full UK Driving Licence and have their own transport.

Salary is negotiable dependent on experience.


Previous experience as a Legal receptionist is essential – training will be given as required.

Your duties ultimately will include: –

  • Switchboard – Process incoming telephone calls with no undue delay and in a courteous and helpful manner, to receive and process all visitors to the firm, especially clients, in a helpful, friendly, and professional manner.
  • Dealing with clients in person and via telephone
  • Taking messages
  • General office duties
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements e.g., CML, CQS, SRA and anti-money laundering.
  • Dealing with all visitors to the reception area, especially new clients.
  • To ensure the tidiness of the reception area.
  • Maintain booking system/diary for the meeting rooms & Board room.
  • To undertake other clerical and administrative duties as may reasonably be required from time to time.
  • To ensure the confidentiality and security of the firm’s and clients’ documentation and information

Skills, Abilities and Knowledge

  • Ability to prioritise own workload and work effectively without immediate supervision.
  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client liaison skills, and a good professional telephone manner.
  • Willingness to take on additional administrative duties/responsibilities.
  • Ability to work effectively and flexibly as part of a team.
