Southam Book Festival Book In A Window
Southam Book Festival 2026
This year we are again taking part in the Southam Book Festival 'book in a window' competition
Local to Southam? Pop along to 54A Coventry Street to take a look at our interpretation of our chosen book which this year is Winnie The Pooh by A.A.Milne…… Due to the fact that the year 2026 marks 100 years since Winnie the Pooh was first published on October 14, 1926.
We’ve specifically depicted the story of Winnie and The Bees - Pooh longs to eat honey & spots a beehive high up in a tree. Determined to get it, he comes up with a clever plan—he disguises himself as a cloud by floating up with a blue balloon. Pooh hopes to trick the bees, but they grow suspicious and begin to buzz around him.
Bookfest 2026 will take place on Sunday October 11th at the Graham Adams Centre as usual. It will run from 11am to 4pm. Entry is free to the talks and to the main hall exhibition displays. You can find out more about the festival by visiting www.southambookfest.co.uk
