Leamington cafe owner opens new coffee roastery business

Daruri Coffee Roasters recently opened at unit 20 at the Heathcote Business Centre, which is on the Heathcote Industrial Estate.

The new roastery was opened by Cynthia Tamraz who was born in Indonesia.

Cynthia also owns and runs Café Desa in Leamington – with Desa meaning village in Indonesian.

As well as the food, the cafe is also known for its nutrition workshops, wellness retreats and well-being events.

Cynthia has established Daruri Coffee Roasters both to supply businesses nationwide with speciality coffee from Indonesia and south east Asia and also to offer a local service.

She said: “At Daruri, we partner with cafés that care about flavour, quality and craft, providing distinctive coffees from Indonesia and Southeast Asia that are roasted with precision and have consistency you can rely on.

“But we don’t just supply coffee. We are the proud distributor of Victoria Arduino coffee grinders which have been combining technology and design excellence for the coffee industry since 1905.

“From sourcing and roasting to brewing guidance and team training, we help our clients serve coffee that their customers notice – and keep coming back for.”

Cynthia was helped with her latest venture by the commercial property team at Warwickshire law firm Brindley Twist Tafft & James (BTTJ)

She added: “Alex Khan at BTTJ has been a key adviser in helping me secure the right properties for my business ventures, and I very much value his support and guidance.”

Alex Khan, managing partner at BTTJ, said: “I have worked with Cynthia for a number of years, and so we were delighted to be able to advise her on the property aspects of her latest venture.

“And she is one client who you can always rely on for a great cup of coffee.”
