Abigail Scott

Abigail (known as Abi) joined BTTJ in our Medical Negligence team as a Paralegal in June 2024 having completed her Law and Criminal Justice degree at De Montfort University in Leicester.

She worked as a paralegal for 2 years in a Court of Protection department in Lincoln before moving down to Leicestershire and joining BTTJ.

Since working here Abi has enjoyed learning about and practicing her new clinical negligence skills but she has also been able to use her previous COP experience to help our clients. She is shortly due to finish her LPC and is very much hoping to begin her training journey to take the next step as a qualified solicitor.

Abi is a member of the Warwickshire Law Society Warwickshire Junior Lawyers Division.

She spends 100% of her working time on Medical Negligence matters and is based in our Coventry office.

About Abi

Outside of work I am a very keen reader and have a personal goal to create my own library at home. I read all kinds of genres.

I have recently adopted my rescue kitten Sylvie who has really grown to show her playful and affectionate side.

I think colleagues would describe me as helpful, cheerful and bubbly.

My favorite way to spend a weekend is by spending time with my partner and our family, ideally squeezing in a short UK staycation if we can!
